This is the marvel character Thor’s first standalone game brought to us by Sega, and it promises worlds drawn from Norse mythology filled with monstrous foes straight from the comics. We will get to wield Mjölnir, the legendary hammer of Thor, to fight the hordes of enemies while using the elemental storm powers that Thor is so known so well for. Lightning, thunder, and wind are weapons wielded to vanquish the foes of Thor. Ulik, Ymir, and Surtur are just some of the legendary enemies announced to make an appearance in this game. Since the game span across primal worlds of fire and ice look for Frost Giants, Trolls , and other monstrous beings that will stand in Thor’s way. Enemies are said to be titanic weighing over 20 tons and being dozens of feet tall to cause the player to use different strategies in order to achieve victory. Look for some RPG elements with the inclusion of a leveling up system that allows for gaining new abilities, powers, and weapon upgrades. This game hits shelves May 5, 2011 so be there or be a lightning rod!
